The annual examination schedules for SSC (Matric) and HSSC (Intermediate) in 2026 vary by board, with most following a general timeline in March, April, and May. The Federal Board and Punjab Boards have already announced specific starting dates.  Federal Board (FBISE) The Federal Board has officially announced the following start dates for its 2026 annual examinations:  Students can find official updates and admission form details on the FBISE website.  Punjab Boards All Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISEs) in Punjab (Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan, Faisalabad, etc.) will follow the same synchronized schedule:  KP, Sindh, and Balochistan Boards Official, specific dates for the start of the 2026 annual exams for all individual boards within these provinces (e.g., Peshawar, Karachi, Quetta, etc.) are generally announced closer to the exam period, often in January or February of the exam year. Students in these regions are advised to regularly check their specific board’s official website for the most accurate and up-to-date information and date sheets.
